The Situation
After P3 cleared compliance requirements to begin working with a Fortune 50 company, it needed a technical integration layer capable of connecting its systems with that company’s backend at enterprise scale and volume.
What DS Business Solutions Did
We built a highly technical integration between P3’s systems and the Fortune 50 company’s backend — a complex architecture using message queues, SNS, and supporting AWS infrastructure to handle high transaction volume reliably. We also integrated P3’s systems with Coupa for procurement, shortening P3’s payment cycle and reducing paperwork for everyone involved.
The Outcome
- Built a production integration handling significant volume — one of the integrated services alone runs roughly 2,000 transactions a day (about 730,000 a year on its own); across the full integration, total volume is estimated in the millions annually
- Shortened P3’s payment cycle via a Coupa procurement integration, reducing paperwork on both sides
- Gave P3 a scalable, message-queue-based architecture built to handle enterprise-level transaction volume
