The Challenge
The client was running a decade-old monolithic platform that required frequent manual interventions, experienced regular outages, and was blocking new feature development. Their internal team lacked the bandwidth to undertake a full migration without disrupting day-to-day operations.
Our Approach
DS Business Solutions provided a dedicated offsite engineering team that worked in close sync with the client’s in-house developers. We broke the migration into phased sprints — strangling the legacy system incrementally while introducing a modern microservices architecture on AWS.
Key work included containerizing existing services with Docker, implementing a CI/CD pipeline from scratch, and migrating their database to a managed PostgreSQL service with zero data loss.
